Noah's Ark Exhibit

a great success

We joined in the celebration of Hope with the timeless biblical story of Noah and the Ark. We assembled a wonderful collection of works from artist's in our own backyard and from around the world for you to enjoy. The fervent love of Noah's ark still exists to captivate children and adults alike.

Whether you are charmed by elegant, classic arks or those more whimsical in nature you are sure to enjoy the wonderful attention to detail, the selection of animals, and the curious shapes and hues of the various renditions we have assembled. This display includes rustic wooden folk art from Wolf's Creek, Midwest of Cannon Falls and Maurice and Kelly Dallas as well as the more contemporary pieces of Patience Brewster of the "Krinkles Collection" and Jim Shore's "Heartland" series. Arks and animals by Caboodle's "Noah's Pals," Fisher Price and Playmobile will interest children. Other artists include, Carol Enders, Tom duBois, Edward Hicks, Charles Wysocki, Currier and Ives, local quilter Barbara Barber, as well as works from Peru and Germany.

Once considered Sunday Toys for children, the exhibit will include over 40 exceptional arks with animals, limited edition prints, quilts, books, games, puzzles and more.
